ROBO Call on January 13, 2022:

Good Afternoon – this is Jennifer Lautenbach with a recorded message from the Lynden Community/Senior Center.

If you haven’t seen me at the Center this week, it’s because I am home quarantining.  My family is fully vaccinated so we are quarantined for five days and the boys are more stir crazy than sick!  Just a reminder wear a mask, wash your hands and watch your distance.

Unfortunately due to staff and volunteer shortages we are going to cancel the in person lunch and lunch pickup on Friday.  Anyone currently signed up for a delivered meal will receive one of our frozen meals.  The Saturday pancake breakfast scheduled for this Saturday will also be cancelled.  While we hate to cancel things, it is important that we don’t overload our staff and volunteers!

We are starting the interview process for our two new staff positions, an assistant cook & a fulltime bookkeeper/admin assistant, so hopefully you will see some new faces soon.

Again, due to staff & volunteer shortages we will cancel in person and pickup lunch tomorrow (Friday).  Delivered meals will be from our frozen stock.  And the Saturday pancake breakfast for this month is cancelled.

If you missed any part of this call, it will be posted on our website at www.lyndencommunitycenter.org or on our FB page.  Stay safe and see you next week!

We have 2 job openings at the Center!  See the descriptions below and how to apply!
